Business strategy really should drive our work as analysts. Like pairing the perfect beverage with your meal, when project (or product) strategy is aligned to business strategy, scope and all that goes with it falls into place. But… what if the alignment is off? How can you take an initiative that has been approved and funded and check alignment? Can you verify the strategy and scope? Should you? (Spoiler alert: YES!) In this interactive session, we’ll get a farm to table, Product to Team look at how analysts can check that we’re on the right strategic track.

When you’re craving comfort food but the menu is focused on new wave fusion and gastro experimentation, your experience may be less than your expectation. Our goal with any product is to meet the needs of our customers, and to do that, we need to know who they are, what they want, and how they experience our product. Why stop there? We can use the customer journey to uncover the ingredient details that take an experience from home cook to a Michelin Star worthy experience. In this interactive session, we’ll discover the recipe for understanding success as our customers see it and how to take that experience to the next level to generate requirements and feature details.
